We have today uplifted more Images of the completed components for the NEW 9″ Scale Tasker, of which i must say is going to look absolutely fabulous & ‘VERY BIG’
Standing 7′ 6″ Tall this NEW Engine will tower above other Large 6″ Engines such as the 6″ Mclaren & 6″ Burrell, this will without doubt be the New Engine everybody wants druing the 2010 season.
Here at GNS we will have the ‘First Engine Ready’ and on the Rally Circuit from ‘May Bank Holiday 2010′ – FIRST OUTING WILL BE AT THE ‘RUSHDEN CALAVADE’ – Where we will also have the 6″ Tasker on display plus many others.
23rd February 2010 – ‘Well i said is was going to be ‘BIG’ – The wheels have today come back from having the tyres fitted and we will have the canopy finished by tonight – The Cylinder Block Pattern arrived this morning and is now on it’s way to be cast’ - I know people were waiting to see it up on it’s wheels before commiting to purchase one of the first engines, so now be quick as i can only sell a couple at the entry price - just to get them into the rally circuit THIS YEAR – Yes you heard right THIS YEAR! - The FIRST ONE will have it’s first showing at the ‘Rushden Calvalcade’ – ALL engines purchased within the next month will be out and finished before the end of the season – ‘Why wait TWO or THREE years for an engine, we work on the principle, ORDER – PAY – DELIVER
25th April 2010 – Update on the build of the 9″ Tasker – We have just this week received the Cylinder Block after a few attempts by the Foundry to get it right! – Anyhow we now have it and machinning has started – We will still endeavour to get the engine to Rushden for its maiden outting, however it may not be completely finished – however we will pull out all the stops to get it in steam if at all possible!
4th May 2010 – Well the 9″ Tasker made it to Rushden, albeit 95% Complete – This week we will finish the Tasker ready for its next outting in 4 Weeks to ‘Lamport Hall’ – Where it will be ‘In-Steam’ and will be complete with its Trailer – Those interested parties who want to see it in the North (Darlington) please get in touch this week as it will be heading South to Newport Pagnell at the end of Next week. – Have a look at the New Pictures below taken at The Rushden Calvalcade over the weekend!
