A well engineered model of this very popular engine designed originally by H.R.Plastow based on a 6nhp agricultural engine. The copper boiler is fully silver soldered.
The engine has 2 speeds with Stephensons valve gear and pole reverser on the footplate. Boiler feed is by injector and crankshaft driven water pump with bypass valve. It has a differential and a winch fitted to the nearside hind wheel. In 3″ scale this engine is light and easily transported and is an ideal Rally Field Engine.
Completed in 1996 the engine has been well maintained by it’s previous owner and has a Boiler Certificate until April 2010
