GNS MOVE INTO ‘BIOMASS STEAM PLANT TECHNOLOGY’

GNS MOVE INTO ‘BIOMASS STEAM PLANT TECHNOLOGY’

>>’INVESTORS REQUIRED – BECOME PART OF THE FUTURE & HELP OTHERS’<<

Here at Great Northern Steam we are looking at developing a ‘Biomass Steam Plant’ for generation of ‘Electricity’ for use either in ‘Third World Developing Countries’ or for use in ‘Disaster & Emergency’ situations such as the current crisis in Pakistan, or alternatively for private residential use where electricity is restricted and where there is a supply of Biomass Fuel Product, such as Timber Waste, of which there is a huge over supply globally of waste wood product.

We are looking at developing a single plant that can be easily moved and operated in all corners of the World. The plant would have the capacity to generate enough electricity to  power lighting for a  small village in Africa, or a similar location in an Emergency situation. This type of power plant could also be used to Power Single Properties, Charge Batteries or used for refrigeration for cold storage, of which as you are probably aware is a major concern in the third world and the developing countries. We estimate the size of the unit will be approximately 1mtr x 1mtr and weigh under 50kg, and be easily assembled on site and in operational use within minutes. Remember the key fact being there is NO need for Petrol or Any type of oil based fuel for operational purposes.

To give you some background on this topic both Mark & Keith Ashton (Directors) looked at this area of opportunity about 10 Years ago but were not in a position to move this type of project forward at the time due to other business commitments. However with the growing demand for Biomass variations across the globe we now feel there has never been a better time to move this type of project forward.

GNS have applied to the ‘Carbon Trust Research Programme’ for a grant for the development work, but would be looking for Individual Financial  Investment to help support the build of the Power Plant itself. The opportunities from this could potentially be massive on a global scale, especially in third world countries as I would think that the demand by International Charities, such as UNICEF, OXFAM and the BRITISH RED CROSS to supply this type of product into operation in areas of need quickly. The plant would be developed as a single operating unit either for mobile use on a trailer, or for a static facility of which would be also strong enough to be airlifted and dropped into areas of need. We are also going to develop a larger plant that could be put into operation for larger needs.

The plant would also have the advantage of not only generating electricity but have the ability to operate other forms of equipment either from a ‘Flywheel Type Design’ (belt operated) or with a ‘Power Take Off System’ (PTO), hence the need for the specific design requirements.

Nobody currently has developed a ‘Biomass System’ for this type of use, most Biomass systems are on a huge scale, generating electricity for Industry, reverting the unused power (Electricity) back to the national grid for a return on their investment.

The Boiler itself can be found commercially, modified and redesigned for our purposes, however the ‘Power Plant’ itself would need to be developed, hence the reason for the research grant and the project funding.

We estimate that if the funding for development is available, we will utilise the services of the local university for additional development capacity. The initial Plant itself we estimate will cost in the region of £40K-£65K. We would hope to reduce this amount substantially once the plant has been developed and tested to within a fraction of this cost once in full production.

If this type of project is of some interest to you and you would like to be part of this fantastic development opportunity and the financial benefits this could give to not only ourselves and our investors, but add to the quality of life of others across the globe.

We Look forward to hearing from you – Please email or call, biomass@greatnorthernsteam.co.uk

OFFICIAL ‘OLYMPIC 2012′ PRESS RELEASE

Great Northern Steam Company announce the launch of the new

‘OLYMPIC 2012 LOCOMOTIVE’

>>Investment Opportunity<<

After the success of the Darlington built A1 Class ‘Tornado’ GNS announce the 1st NEW CLASS V/09 ATLANTIC 4-4-2 to be built since the early 1900’s. This Fabulous New Locomotive will be formally named ‘OLYMPIC 2012’ in preparation of the forth coming London 2012 Olympic Games

Originally built in Darlington the last of these truly magnificent locomotives left for main line operation in 1910 – This will be nearly 100 Years to the day since the last of these legends of the Railways were produced.

Both Class V&Z Locomotives were regarded as the ‘best looking locomotives of the time’ and NOW we have the opportunity to recreate British Steam Railway History.

This Fabulous New Locomotive will be built by our specialist team of engineers at our New Darlington Engineering & Locomotive Works situated just meters away from the original locomotive works. As we all know Darlington is world famous for the home of George Stephenson’s first public railway line between Stockton & Darlington launched in 1825, so what better place to bring to life another piece of British Railway history

Unfortunately none of this Class of Locomotive survived into preservation so this really is an exciting project for us all to be involved in.

This Class of Locomotive is of a size that will generate interest from both Heritage and Main Line operators, of which many of the current Steam Locomotives in service are regrettably coming to the end of their graceful lives.

This classic looking Victorian Locomotive is being offered as an Investment opportunity to both Locomotive Enthusiast and the Corporate Sector. The total estimated cost of recreating this fabulous locomotive will be circa £1.2M of which we are looking at raising £600,000 from donations and private investors who will all have the opportunity to financially benefit from its operational use once completed and in service.

Unlike Tornado ALL of its main components including the Boiler will be manufactured within the UK, most of which in Darlington and the surrounding area, once again securing more jobs to the much needed North East of England.

For more information on this exciting project please contact Mark Hemming on 0845 313 1052 or email sales@greatnorthernsteam.co.uk

We have TWO images on our website of this fabulous looking locomotive, from our home page just click on the NEWS icon to be directed to our press releases and more detail

Note to Potential Investors:

If you would like to become part of this fabulous project by purchasing a share(s) – Each Share is £600 – we would be pleased to hear from you as we need your support to get this project moving and become reality. We need to be in a position to start manufacturing the main components before the end of 2009 to enable us to have the Locomotive finished and tested prior to the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. – By supporting this project you are helping bring to life another piece of our British Railway History……Thank you in advance.

Please email sales@greatnorthernsteam.co.uk stating your Name/Address/Contact Number/Email Address/Amount of Shares Required (£600 Each). We will then be in touch once the project has all the funds in place. We will then send you all the relevant forms for your specific share option and payment terms.
