Great Northern Steam Company Ltd (GNS) was founded approximately 15 years ago, and now manufacture and sell a range of High Quality Live Model Steam Engines from 4″ Scale to FULL SIZE Steam Engines and Railway Locomotives.

GNS is a privately owned company with business interests in the North and South of England. We have substantial engineering facilities in Darlington, together with a Sales and Marketing operation based north of London near Milton Keynes.

Our facility in Darlington is the real heart of our business operation whereby we manufacture and build all of our Steam Driven Vehicles. You are always welcome to visit us anytime. Please just let us know when.

All of which are precision engineered to the ‘Highest Industry Standards’ and we will NEVER supply an Engine that we believe our customers will not be 100% happy with.

All our Engines are supplied ‘Complete’ right down to the ‘High Quality Paint Finshes’, Brass work and of course come Fully Guaranteed.

All our engines can be purchased over a fixed period of time with deposits from as little 10% and stage payments can be made during the build process for up to 5 Years (if needed) & INTEREST FREE 0%. We also offer the facility for you to be able to pay via all major Credit and Debit cards. Contact Us for more information.

Certain models are held in stock for you to view or alternatively if we are not currently building your specific model we have digital images of all our pre-completed engines for you to view at your leisure.
