We can now confirm the details of the new ‘Olympic 2012′ Locomotive -

The NEW CLASS V/09 ATLANTIC 4-4-2 will be built at our NEW LOCOMOTIVE WORKS in Darlington and will be Named ‘OLYMPIC 2012′

Originally built in Darlington the last of these truely magnificent locomotives left for main line operation in 1910 – This will be exactly 100 Years to the day before we start manufacturing this legend of the Railways.

The Class V & Z Locomotives were regarded as the best looking engines of there time and NOW we have the opportunity to recreate History. (more…)
